April Prima Product Pick, Palette & Build-a-Page Sketch {plus RAK winner}

Hi Creative Peeps,

How's your weekend been?  Mine has been pretty quiet as I haven't been feeling that well...boring I know but I rested up a bit so hopefully this week I'll be fine.  Hubs got back from his business trip on Saturday so that's always my cue to take it a bit easier & leave him to deal with the angry mob...aka our kids...(Just kidding they're quite good really...)

I did create a layout today, for a couple of challenges, will post it next week as no photos as yet - it has POURED all weekend, great news for our garden but makes for a rather glum outlook when all you are used to is bright sunshiny days.

Moving on to PRIMA.  Aren't they fab?  No-one else quite like 'em hey???...So here is an image of their April product pick Feel free to right-click & save to your desktop then upload to your own post for a chance to win some of the lovely goodies in the pic...oooh yeah...but remember too to go to their blog post right here & link up so that they know you posted to be in with a chance to win. They're definitely worth adding to your side-bar/reader as they have this great offer EVERY MONTH!

And did you know they have a monthly sketch challenge too?  Here it is above, and a new contest each month is to create a layout using the colours in the Prima Palette (the other image above) so that's THREE chances you have to win with Prima EVERY MONTH and some great inspiration to get going on using up your stash.  I have a ton of Prima & am tryng to get through it before I order some of their lovely new lines so I'm hoping to get these done.

See you back here tomorrow with a layout I did recently using Basic Grey Curio - LOVED that range.  Dunno if any of you can help me but I can't seem to find a Basic Grey blog...surely there must be one?   I registered on their website today so that I can upload my layout into their gallery (which I'll do tomorrow) but I can't for the life of me find a blog.  Same with K & Co (which I know is an EK Success brand).  Sad because I love both brands very much. Companies like Prima. Sassafras Lass & Echo Park are such fun as there is so much reader/user interaction & I really like that these days.

Wishing you all a wonderful week with hopefully some pockets of creative time too :)  I'd also like to say THANK YOU to all the people who have recently joined my blog as followers, and left me wonderful encouraging comments.  You haven't gone unnoticed & I am doing my best to get back to your blogs to return the favour.  It may take a while but whenever I have a moment I am paying visits to all my new friends.

Lastly, I haven't forgotten about my March paper RAK & would like to announce the RAK winner as Stefanie from Cape Town, South Africa!  Congrats Stefanie, hope you get to see this announcement.  If so please e mail me with your postal address so that I can send you the 100 sheets of paper you won.  I know I promised a RAK a month & I hope to be able to sort out one for April soon.  Please bear with me.  I am rather busy at the moment but I will get it up sometime before the end of the month. Goodnight all!!!

Sorry to feel hear you haven't been feeling well hopefully you are on the mend. Had been wet and dreary here in Queensland and I too am unable to take any photos of layouts... oh well more of an excuse to scrap...lol. I too haven't been able to find blogs for BG or K & Co. At least K & CO have a website now although its not the bestt one, but it is by far better than what they used to have.

I hear you on the Prima...simply divine. Really need to stock up on more of their products though! :) Thanks for sharing this info...didn't realize they also had great sketches up for grabs. Too many blogs..too little time. :) Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling great. Hope you feel much better this week. Can't wait to see the Basic Grey Layout. BTW, i'm keen on purchasing goodies from overseas and there are loads of shops that i have looked at, but was hoping you could suggest some of the better ones. Also interested to know what sort of custom and shipping duties to expect. I know you buy loads of goodies from international online stores and you would be one of the best people to give advice in this area. :)

Hi girls - thanks for the info Fi - yes I've seen the revamped K & Co website but TBH it puts me off buying from them in future when there are so many companies with great interactive blogs & facebook pages.

Yolande I will have a look on your page for an e mail address & get back to you on all that as soon as I have a chance.
