Randominium

IMO there is a right & a wrong way to everything - including the FACT that the toilet paper should hang OVER the roll as opposed to down from behind it!

Teenagers are easier to handle if you just forget about the small stuff...

White plates are best. Like white bazzill. They are a blank canvas & food looks better on them.

Cooking does very little for me, in fact, I resent the time it takes out of my life & toast is fine with me.

Kids are best left dressing themselves - that way they find their own style quite quickly & who cares if they want to be Superman every day?

Phases that kids go through, that annoy you, sometimes pass overnight, then you miss them!

Affection builds a child's spirit & confidence, cuddling in bed is especially good...

High shoes look a lot better than they feel to walk in.

Whatever the season, we moan about the weather.

I hate the telephone - the impromptu intrusion - guess that could make me seem unsociable but I'm not good at multi-tasking & would rather phone you back when I can give you 100%.

Age counts for us not against us.

Everything looks easier than it actually is!

And that folks, is my philosophying for the day ;-D

I agree with most all of these. But when the TP hangs from the front it's easier for the babies to unreel it.
I have grown to hate talking on the phone even more now that I have a blackberry. I much prefer to "chat" that way or online than actually talk to someone. Isn't that awful...?
Anyway, here's your layout! http://wickysticket.blogspot.com/2010/08/after-three-of-years-of-scrapbooking.html
Inspired by you!

Agree completely with you about the white plates. In fact my linen is white and all my plates and cups are white!!!!! In that way nothing ever dates as well. :)

I love the new look. Did you use one of the new blogger templates or did you have it done for you?
I don't care about the TP as long as it is white double ply. I only have white crockery and I love it, and white Bazzil too. But then BG is also big in my scrapping.

So with you on the telephone thing. I more often than not do not answer mine - if i wanted to talk to the person wouldn't i be phoning them?!

Gorgeous pics accompanying this post - where did you find them?

Hi all. White it is then - it's unanimous! Stef I try to do everything for my blog myself as I don't want to pay for something then feel I need to be stuck with it for years to get my money's worth. The template is one of the new Blogger backgrounds, literally seconds to instal. And the header was almost as easy. Downloaded from Shabby Blogs & put in the text etc in PSE - that took forever because I am teaching myself there - but forced myself to do it in that rather than Picasa & the effect is definitely better. Tania those plates sound cute - maybe you could just get some little ones to go with tea & cake? Shayne - what a confession - now I can do the same lol...my phone is mostly on silent {actually because it has this really irritating habit of bleeping loudly every 5 minutes for no apparent reason} but when I see the missed calls I call back at MY convenience. Gotta have technology working for us eh girls...and Diana, I know it is so much simpler just to text than talk! Shayne the pics I got off Google would you believe - off the very first page that came up cos I was too tired to hunt further...thought you'd like 'em ;-D

Oh great news Pearl! That didn't seem like too long hey?! Can't wait to see the pics ;-D BTW just wanted to tell you, I finally got a response from Liz from the Scrappiest, after contacting her every month since I won her RAK in October & finally she replied & said that the sponsor of the kit that month had gone out of business & not supplied it & she was battling too much financially to send it to me myself. Just thought you would be interested to know as you are on her DT. Shame, times must be really tough over there, and here we were thinking America was the richest nation in the world! Obviously not for everybody...
