Salt Rock Layout {C'est Magnifique November Sketch} Webster's Pages/Prima

Hi there!  Hope you are all having a beautiful Friday :)
Last weekend I got to play a little & created a layout for

I tipped the sketch over to the left to suit my photo.

My son took that amazing photo!  A travel website actually
uses it to promote the area now :)  I have happy memories
of the day it was taken as I first met my bloggy friend Evgenia
in real life there - we met for lunch & talked our heads off!!

I tore the top & bottom of the base paper and inked
with blue to mimic the waves of the sea.

I used some gesso through my vintage doily stencil
then inked over the top of it.

I inked up my beige Manor House Creations flowers with some
blue in keeping with the sea theme & fussy-cut some Webster's
Pages ' Park Drive' papers to tuck around my photo.

I inked up the Prima resin angels using an 'Old Gold'
ink pad & sealing with Gloss Medium.

I added a strip of broderie anglaise lace along the bottom
to mimic the movement of the waves.

I loved creating this layout on a Sunday evening before
the craziness of the week began, & I really like how it turned out.

I spent the first 38 years of my life living in a land-locked
country {Zimbabwe} & I ALWAYS wanted to live by the sea.
Now I do and I LOVE IT!!  Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
