Busy trying to work out what is up with Picasa - keeps undoing all my edits & as you can imagine that is rather frustrating - is teaching me to back up all edits to my EHD immediately though & that ain't a bad thing...
These two are going through a really good patch at the moment & getting along like a house on fire...
She is almost through school...where has the time gone...and where will she go?
She is "gooder" than I was at her age - but then her upbringing has been somewhat different...
She is in love & it's bringing out the best in her ;-D
She has just settled in & now all her peers are going their separate ways...it makes me worry...
From hating it here she is now loving it...she is so happy...
She works hard & plays hard - just as a seventeen year old should...
She is sure of herself because she is secure...
She is scared of coping on her own...thank goodness she doesn't have to...
We are so different but we love each other so much...
She weighs 50 something kg's & thinks she's fat...indicative of the warped world we live in...
She is popular among her peers...she is a follower & finds it difficult to stand up to others...I had to learn how to do that a long time ago...

So sweet! Love the photos. The sunflare ones are fantastic.
ahhhhh, doesn't time fly ... I remember being 17 and thinking it would last forever.
Lovely tribute to her & gorgeous photos - oh to be that young again !!!
What beautiful words for a daughter from her mother...you should do a page/2pager with all of that. You are so lucky that she still smiles at the camera.
Very touching, Helen.
Your daughter is so beautiful. Absolutely stunning, in fact!
This is a beautiful post Helen! Beautiful daughter, beautiful words!
You are a happy mother:)
she is beautiful x-x. I was only 17 when I left home to go the furthest University from my parents!!! How my mothers heart must have broken! But - it was the best thing I ever did - and I didn't want to escape my parents, I had a lovely home-life. I just wanted to be an individual. Being the youngest of 4 girls, Individuality was something I never had until I went away. x-x
lovely photo tribute!
