Yes there's another sketch up at Creative Scrappers already!
EVERY Sunday!!
I used my new Les Papiers de Pandore papers URBANESSENCE.
This layout tells the story of how my youngest son
inadvertently became a goalkeeper, a position he
now loves and is very good at!
That stamp was taken from a parcel I received earlier
this year, sent to me by my kind friend Alison from Spain :)
I couldn't believe how well it matched and how appropriate
it was! Other ephemera used - mesh (from vegetable
packaging) & ticket (see below) saved from an event.
Hand journaling - simplest way to tell a story.
Drops of mist - always a good way to start a page!
Stickpins and a bulldog clip. Metal is always
a good way to go for male embellishments.
And there you have it! That's it for today!!
Hope you can play along with us at Creative Scrappers!
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE :)

Stunning boy page Helen! Lovely journalling and that stamp is just perfect. xx
Fabulous, love how you used pink and stars on your boys page. Still inherently your style though.
I had to smile at your journaling - Caleb always wanted to bat so Josh became a really good spin bowler.
What a great LO, Helen... that stamp was such a fabulous addition! Love your handwritten journaling all the your signature layering... it's fabulous!
Love the layout and the photo is amazing. My favourite is your journaling not only real but beautiful handwriting
Really cool take on the sketch, Helen! Your paper choices and accents are perfect for your photo and subject!
I totally identify with this story. While playing cricket with my older male cousins, I was always assigned the position of 'first slip'. My job was to stand behind a hedge and throw the ball over whenever it trespassed into the neighbor's property...LOL!
Love the colors you have used and the embellies.
Wow, absolutely fabulous.
hugs carla
