All Hearts Come Home For Christmas - Card for Prima!

Back again so soon!  I know!!  Sometimes it just works out that way!!
You can see this card up on the Prima blog HERE - you really should
come over & look at all the fantastic posts going up at the moment!
It's all about CHRISTMAS & FULL of glorious inspiration!!

EVERYTHING I've used comes from Prima of course!  Most of it from
'A Victorian Christmas' - a wonderful new Christmas Collection full
of lovely berry colours & gorgeous gold trimmings!

The rolls of sequins work perfectly for cards!
Just enough glitz & glamour for the festive season!!

Pattern paper – A Victorian Christmas 990558,  Weave Trim {Camel} 577087
Antique Mistletoe Leaves & Berries, IOD metals 583576 & 583545
Micro Beads 962562, Dark Rust Chalk Ink

Can you believe this was my first time playing with the Relics & Artifacts®?!
I quickly learned that the best way to get an aged & “found” look to the pieces
is by a process of adding & subtracting...just like all other mixed-media work.

I applied layers of paint, micamicro-beads & soft gloss gel, then I used a Q-tip
dipped in Paint Thinners to remove some of the layers in certain areas, which helps
the deeply grooved design at the side & top of the heart to really stand out!
