Announcing the winner of the Creative Scrappers E-Book! {plus an update on my Diet & Exercise Regime}

I know that I am late in posting this - I'm sorry!
Silly me to choose the date of the 15th to
announce the winner when that is the day that
Once Upon a Sketch and Sketchabilities prefer us
to post our new layouts!!  I wasn't thinking straight!!!

So, without further ado...the winner of the E-Book is
Yvonne Yam!!  So send me an e mail Yvonne and I will
send you a reply together with your download code!
Woo Hoo!!

I have more to post - all of a sudden - it tends to go
like that I find...scratching around for things to post
then all of  sudden having so much and not wanting
to forget about any of it - so I'll get to getting
something new up at some stage over the weekend.

I am behind, behind, behind on my blog reading
so I am definitely going to invest some time in
that over the course of this weekend.  I have had
a bad last few days as far as my new diet & exercise
regime has been going...losing weight is never easy
for me as I am insulin resistant, and our Valentine's
dinner on Tuesday night was the beginning of a
major fall off the wagon, but I am getting back
on today!!

I haven't lost any more weight but the 5 pounds
I've lost is still off despite the binge so it looks
like that is set to stay off - woo hoo!  And as far
as the exercise goes, I am getting fitter by the day,
BUT my feet are back to agony, my injury is
obviously never going to get better, and I either
have to lay off the starjumps (or any exercise
that involves pounding my full body weight onto
my feet) or have surgery on my feet, which would
mean being completely off them for weeks so that
has never been an option.

Sooo...that is definitely
NOT anything to Woot Woot!!  about...
but I will still carry on training as I can twist and
kick, just saying goodbye to Zumba for a while...
which is a major BOO HOO for me...

I have been in complete agony for the last 24
hours and taken more painkillers and
anti-inflammatories than I should admit to in
public but I am back off to the gym this minute
so I do hope that I am doing the right thing!!

I have given my feet a 15 hour rest and a hot
soak aswell so I am going to give it my best shot!!
HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!

Hope your feet gets better with some rest. You must try spinning its an absolute non-impact sport so your feet will be very happy and you can do it till you 100+ !! and you will loose weight.

It's a major achievement sometimes just to manage to not put on any weight - so well done:) As far as your feet go, I know the dilemma well - I 'nurse' several long-term injuries, one at least I know could be surgically resolved, but I just can't stand the thought of being off my feet for several weeks recovering! it's a bummer aye?! As you say, there are plenty of 'supported' forms of exercise you could/should do instead. The others will become 'easier' on your body once you have lost some more weight. Best of luck:)

Woohoo me! :)

Good job on keeping the weight off. It will get easier. I eat full fat everything...just in small bits. And I work out a lot. Hope your feet feel better soon. Maybe try swimming? It's less taxing on the joints.
