Take Me Back Layout - Prima Product Pick
Plus Build-a-Page Sketch Challenge September 2015

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful week!!
We are already in September, Spring has sprung here in South Africa
& the humidity is back with a vengeance here in Durban.

A new month means all sorts of new challenges around & about the web
& the ones I'm showing you today come from Prima Marketing -
their regular product challenge & sketch challenge.

So this is my DT take on the PPP - the Prima Product Pick as seen HERE.

I found these colours automatically so inspiring for me!  As I said on the Prima blog...

"I loved this month’s unusual colours!  So rich, but also very modern...these colours
work fantastically together!  I used an older photo of my kids {years ago when they
were a lot younger} as my photo-editing skills weren't then what they are now & they
were slightly yellow themselves! {artificial light} so they matched the palette perfectly!

Picking out all the right bits & pieces from so many of the older Prima collections was
such fun – I used SIX collections in total showing how easy it is to mix them."
~by Helen Tilbury

I used a TON of Prima product!  Practically everything
on my page, bar the gold doily from my dear US friend Mitra,
the cheesecloth, the LOVE paperclip & the geometric stamp
{a tictac bottle lid - yes really...}

Prima Products used:- Pattern paper – Cartographer Collection {Montgolfiere} ,
Firefly {Lyrical} , Time Traveler’s Memories {Tickets Only} , 6 x 6 stencil {Lace} ,
Modeling Paste {Opaque Matte} , Heavy Gesso {White} , Glass Beads {Butter} ,
Color Bloom Sprays – Gold Foil , Deep Teal , Pressed Petal , Resist Canvas Border,
Prima Packaging {Create Memories & sentiment}, Wood Door #2 ,Seashore Tags
& Tickets , Seashore Chipboard Pieces , Time Traveler’s Memories {Chipboard} ,
Wood Tickets {Songbird} , Decorative Brad , Flowers – Lyrique {White} ,
Interlude {White} , Craft Cardstock Flower, Junkyard Findings {Typo Zipper}

I am still waiting for my Prima DT box to arrive would you believe?!
I am sure it will be here any day now & the anticipation is building!!

I'm not getting to scrap as much as I would like at the moment so took this on
after a 2 week hiatus, which for me is a very long time.  I was so glad though
that it all went so smoothly & just flowed out of me without a hitch!!
I guess it really is like riding a bicycle...

I have really grown to LOVE the color bloom sprays & those fantastic bottles
with the big nozzles.  I bought some of the newer colours earlier this year
& they are rich & amazing.  The purples & blues are so bold!!

And Riikka is rocking the sketches too!

Here's the other Prima challenge running at the moment.
I hope you will find some time to play along with one or both,
there is some stiff competition which makes the challenges even
more exciting & the wait for the features even more anticipatory!

Plus of course it's a great way to work through your awesome Prima Stash!!

Thanks for visiting & have a great week!!!

Really loving this page, the detailed paint is really cute. On a side note, I wish we could go back to the days when those two weren't so cheeky! Xxxx
