Do More of What Makes you Happy Layout
- Prima Product Pick March 2015

Hello everyone.  I have just returned from a week away on a desert trip to Botswana.
Well it was HOT & the drive was LONG but we had a great time CELEBRATING
with FAMILY as we went up for a combined birthday party.  Virtually no wifi or
mobile data signal or strength so I have been well & truly off the airwaves almost
altogether!  Now that I am back of course I have a million things to get through :)

Before I left I played along with the Prima Product Pick Challenge but had no time
to photograph my layout so did it as soon as I got back {in semi-darkness so not
the best set of photos :/} but was dying to get it blogged, shared & linked up!

So, being a "Prima Page" I filled it FULL of Prima GOODNESS.
Papers come from the Free Spirit Collection along with last year's
chalkboard collection too {to cut the title} Optimist Collection.

I used older Prima stamps from the Delight Collection along with Prima word
stickers & of course, lots & lots of flowers, most of them coming from Prima!

I love to have black touches on my pages & to journal in black, even though
I have journaling pens in many different colours!  Black always ties
everything together & stands out so well.

I have so many Prima flowers that I didn't buy any of the new collection ones
this year {as I placed my order before they had arrived} but am still working
through 3 little crates full & making good headway!

I cut up a Purity vine that I have been saving for YEARS as I love the leaves
& tendrils that come with the vines.  I also used some Prima buttons
 & a Prima Harlequin stamp.

I used a lovely Ingvild Bolme Resin Shabby Chic Treasure to draw attention
to my photo & inked it up with Ingvild Bolme Chalk Ink.

There is just something TOO GORGEOUS about a flower filled page & while
I don't do them all the time I LOVE to have a couple of them in each album!

I tend to end up with a lot of diagonal composition layouts as that is definitely
my favourite "go to" design, so I tried something different here & love
the way the page design turned out!

Thanks for your visit!  Have a great weekend!!

THAT my dear is the most loveliest of pages! I didn't see it as a page when I first opened you blog...I was really drawn to the black and the quote and the flowers made me happy! And that white space is lovely too! SUPER PAGE, one of my favorites! Glad you had a nice trip!

First of all NO CHANCE IN HELL of me doing more of what makes me happy at the moment. I am consumed by wedding stuff, a baptism for my grandies and a Charity Scrap event in Cape Town plus organising a three month european trip... I just keep thinking if I can just make it through to September things will get back to normal... whatever the hell that is.
HOWEVER, I do agree with you the best times are when they are all at home together... for me too. Love this layout. So full of love.
