7 Dots Studio 'Warm & Cosy' Challenge
- 'Heartstrings' Layout

Remember my 3 Christmas GIVEAWAYS going on HERE!

Hello again!  It's Challenge Time again at 7 Dots Studio!!
This month the theme is 'Warm & Cosy' & can be interpreted whichever
way you like as long as 7 Dots products are prominent on your project.

I was a bit worried about how I would tackle this challenge as here in Durban it is Summer
weather most of the year around & while our Winters get a bit chilly for a couple of months
we don't even have a fireplace or heating at home so I had no suitable photographs.

Then I came across this photograph of my daughter & I that I had added the journaling to straight after her graduation weekend, while my feelings of pride in her where still so fresh in my mind.

I used several different patterned papers from the Nature Walk Collection, layered up along with some lovely big Prima flowers.  I have learnt over the years that I prefer smaller flowers so
I now use the bigger ones by tucking them underneath my layers so that they appear smaller.

I love this fine metallic thread & used it to tie in with my title - 'Heartstrings'.

The chipboard is also from 7 Dots Studio & the Heart Stencil is from UmWow Studios.

I hope you will play along with the 7 Dots Challenge this month.
There are always 3 amazing merit prizes to be won!!

THAT is so lovely for a cozy and warm challenge! As I type this I can see a few flames in the wood fireplace...and a smattering of snow out the window...and as nice as it is, I do envy your climate! I love the little string you used for heart strings and that big chippy! So pretty!
