Not Drowning just Waving :)

Just waving HELLO so you know I am still alive & well!
Busy busy times for me at the moment on the personal front, helping
hubs prepare for a big meeting coming up & lots of admin & paperwork.

On the scrappy front I BEGAN SORTING OUT MY STUDIO.
I won't say biggest mistake ever because I KNOW I WILL BE DELIGHTED
EVENTUALLY!!!  Right now though of course it's a right old mess...

One side is almost complete now so I am probably 40% done.

Going to have a HUGE SALE of stash here.  I have had giveaways
regularly on my blog in the last couple of years but I still have far too much.
Really because I used to buy more than I could scrap.  Now I know my limits
& almost everything that makes it's way in doesn't get out alive any longer.

So while it's a painstaking task to sort things out, categorise & photograph
everything to sell it's a necessary evil & I have some super stash - it just doesn't
float MY boat any longer as my style has changed SO much over the last year.

For those of you who have followed me for more than a year will know that
I only really found my personal scrapbooking style just over a year ago.
Prior to that I was so versatile, I could take on any style.  Now I just can't
do that any longer.  I know exactly what I like for me & what I don't.

And that's a huge relief because now it's not difficult for me to sort through
my stash & know what to keep & what not to keep.  If it doesn't truly get my
heart racing I'm hoping it will do that for someone else instead ♥

For the first time in years I've actually "got a gap" & time to take it on.
I've lost a couple of DTs lately {both of them closed down, Inkido & one other}
so I'm taking that as a sign to use this time to finally clear my room out.
It's really small & I'm already loving having got rid of my Mixed Media
trolley & filled an empty drawer with all my pastes instead.

It does mean that I can't create as much as usual at the moment
but it's not going to go on forever so hang in there I will be back!
THANKS FOR VISITING :)

Wish I could clear my space out. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a hoarder. I can get rid of stuff but I also hang on to a lot 'just in case'. Sad that those Teams closed down but great that it gives you some extra time to do a clean out. Please don't take too long though, 'cos I'll get withdrawal symptoms from missing out on seeing your gorgeous works!! Hugs

Yep that is what I am doing at the moment except that I won't be getting rid of anything just yet. Although I have a rather large shop here. I still havent found my style and at this rate I will be dead before I do. :)Cant wait to see how you go.

Good for you! It must feel liberating! Nothing new on my blog as well … been sick for so long now that I haven't scrapped in 5 weeks. I'm on the mend now though and hoping I remember how! LOL

Oh good luck with the clean out! I cleaned my room out a while ago and got rid of boxes of stuff. And somehow, my room is full again!

Wish I had time to sort my scrap area out! The mess seems to keep growing! (Mental note to self...must stop buying supplies!)

Good for you Helen. I share your small space situation too. I think it might actually be a good thing to be small because imagine how much more we would end up with because we would have space. It really helps limit purchases. Sounds like your clean up will be well worth it.:)

I am right there with you on the cleaning out front. I've been going through my stash and putting things in a giveaway pile to go to someone else as well. I'm in the middle of trying to find my true style and am really enjoying the process of just being able to create. Can't wait to see your room!

You had me LOLing at the title and that photo! I have most of my stuff in boxes at the moment as my house is on the market. So difficult when I cannot get to all the stuff that I know I have and 'need' to be creative... :-) Well done on the de-stashing. It's hard!

It's always good to do a spring clean through one's scrappy stuff! As we have said...one's style changes and some of the goodies we had previously purchased are no longer our "go-to's! It clears the way for new adventures and creativity! x

Ok, Miss Rose!!!!
You say you are not drowning, you say you waving. But, when I saw this hand , I had the Miss Rose from the Titanic flash back. I have had it on my mind to re-watch the video, so now you have done it. Tonight, I am watching Helen's hand stretch out.....giggle....
