"Exotic Singapore" - Published in Scrap 365 Magazine {Aug/Sep 2013} Yup that long ago!

So anyone who has had a layout published before knows how long the whole process
 takes!  Now if you are on the Design Team of the magazine where your layout
 is published you can't share your page for even longer - you need to wait until
 the next issue is out beyond your pub.

So as a result I more often than not haven't got to sharing most of my published layouts
 this year, since I have actually been on the Design Team of Scrap 365 magazine
 It's totally my fault for not being organised enough but it has always been my
intention to eventually get them all blogged!  So here goes!!

Don't ask me where the close-ups are {no idea LOL!} I think if I remember
correctly - I was rushing out the door to the Post Office with this one &
never got to take any!  This was for the PDQ Gallery {pretty darn quick}
so nothing too fancy here but I still really like it & to me it does convey
the East with all it's birdcages, lots of tea in pretty hand-painted cups
& lots of red & gold.

Thanks for stopping in today & I hope you had a wonderful weekend :)

Of course you had a layout published... I mean who would not publish your layouts. I love these pics and I loved Singapore I hope that you went to Raffles for a very expensive Singapore Sling. Love the bling title and the Red... another stunning layout and fairly clean one for you. I love it.

Perfect embelli choices Helen and I love your food photos! While this is a cleaner and simpler layout for you, I really like it a lot too. Congrats on the pubs and yes... I totally get the turnaround time thing. You stuff always rocks! Hope you get to share some more of your pub work in the future.:)

Congratulations on the publication. I seriously think I will die of hunger as I would be to scared to eat anything in the east.

One certainly does forget about published pages, as you so rightly say...the process is a verrrrry long one! ;-) But this is a super page and I remember thinking how clever the design, papers and accents were that give one that oriental feeling, which fits perfectly with the theme! Gorgeous, gorgeous page! ;-)
