"Journey" Layout - Scrap Around The World May Epic Event Layout {7Dots Studio Illumination Collection}

Hello again everyone!
Back today with my Scrap Around The World page to match our
EPIC ANNIVERSARY MOOD BOARD designed my me this month!
CLICK HERE TO PLAY ALONG WITH US!!

Of course finding a joyful photo wasn't difficult for me
as I recently returned from celebrating my daughter's
graduation from University with her & got loads of great shots.

I used papers from 7Dots Illumination Collection,
which recently arrived on my doorstep & I just LOVE!

I got the full collection kit which comes together with stickers & die-cuts
so I used an assortment of it all on my page, together with white & gold
acrylic paint & red & gold mist.

The balloons inspired my circles, which I stamped using a bottle top.
I added gold splatters on my page & finger dotted gold acrylic splodges
in the middle of each white circle too.  Gold is so IN I am spray-painting
all sorts of things in my house with it too!

To bring in all the colours without my page ending up looking
like something out of the circus, I used decorative stick-pins,
one of my "go-to" embellishments.

The journaling cards & sentiments that come along with the Illumination
Collection were perfect for this layout.  They are very versatile!

And absolutely NO flowers!  Yes occasionally I feel they are
superfluous to a design {but certainly not very often!} LOL!
Thanks for the visit!!

Cannot remember when I last saw you create a page without flowers! I almost said that about myself too but quickly remembered the Crate product review for 365. It must have been such a proud unreal moment to see your baby girl graduate, a young woman. My memory doesn't serve me well right now, didn't she get a scholarship but what/where? xoxoxox
