Scrap 365 Sneak Peek! And some very exciting news!! {My first ever Real Life Class}

I love to blog but keeping my blog busy all the time is not so easy when I have so many other things to do.  I have all 4 kids home at the moment as the 2 eldest are both back from university.
I am busy behind the scenes at Scrap Around The World
A LOT right now, preparing for our HUGE ANNIVERSARY EVENT.
Yes next month we will be ONE YEAR OLD can you believe it?!
Along with a new year comes a new design team of course & I am
SOOOOO excited to introduce them all to you - they are THE bomb.com!!

Here is a sneak peek of my latest article for Scrap 365 Magazine.
 If you haven't yet subscribed I strongly urge you to HERE
 Full details are on the site & the price & postage are reasonable, wherever you live.
Without support print magazines will eventually die.
 I myself prefer them as I like something to read in bed!
Ironically our wifi signal does not reach our bedroom of all places but I won't start
 on what I think about that & how many times we've tried to overcome that problem!

MORE huge news for me!  I have been invited to teach my
very first class in South Africa!  {well anywhere actually!!}
 I am really looking forward to it & very busy making preparations for it.
 I hope I will get to meet many of my local online scrappy friends in real life
 & of course I am already friends with Denise Van Deventer, who I met up
 with when I was last in Johannesburg & Evgenia Petzer who I have met up
with 3 times already!   They will also be teaching at the event.  Woohoo!!

 It is sure to be fun!!  It is a whole new thing to me though - sourcing local supplies
 & working within a strict budget, but I am happy that I can do my bit for charity
 & at the same time do what I love - that really is a win!

 I will be back soon with a layout I forgot to share last month!
What with my blog feed problem I ran out of days & it slipped further
 down my drafts & I have just discovered it now :)  See you soon!!

Neat sneak! I am with you on the print pubs. I support the two here in Canada. Not having WIFI in the bedroom is probably actually a blessing.;) SATW is awesome. You must be so proud. Congrats on the teaching gig. I am sure you will be wonderful. I would take your class if I lived in SA. Busy, busy , busy...No dust on you girl!:)

Congrats Helen on the teaching gig. I'm so excited for you and I know you will just be the best teacher ! Do you know how I know that ?........because you are SO knowledgeable and you are SO organised, the 2 things that make for a great teacher. I also know you take your commitments very seriously, so as a teacher myself, I just want to remind you to also have FUN with your class and enjoy your self ! Also want to chime in with Eila and wish you and SATW happy anniversary....that 12 months just went so quickly. Can't wait for the announcement of "the big event" (say no more ) and also the introduction of the rest of your new DT. xx
