"My Ouma is 'n Rok-Ster' Layout {Flourish with a Bling} Prima BAP {Lindy's Stamp Gang}

Hello there!  I have this layout up today at Flourish with a Bling, where you can find all the product codes for the flourishes, together with links directly to their online store for each of them.

I used 3 different flourishes -  in black, amethyst & red - & cut & rejoined them to make them multicoloured.  My Mother-in-Law's fashion style is outlandish so I wanted my page to reflect that!

I used this month's Prima BAP for my inspiration.  I wanted to use this particular photo so I went with it rather than 2 smaller ones as in the sketch, but I did try to place my embellishments in such a way that they were still in keeping with the sketch. With the larger size of the photo I ended up covering a lot more surface area :)

I have the story of the title on my post up at FWAB if you are interested in what it means & why I chose it :)  Everything but the bling comes from Prima, including the base paper, which is 'Darling' from the Delight Collection.

I created my misted background using Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst mists in Frolic in the Forest Black, Poinsettia Red Gold, Sweet Violet Purple Teal, Ramblin' Rose Pink & Glory of the Seas Gold.

Once I had my background mists in place I added some random strips of dry-wall tape & some stamping, using Prima & Kaisercraft stamps.  The blooms are an assortment from Prima Anna Marie, School Memorie, Everyday Vintage Collections plus some older & every day collections.

I also added some metals from Ingvild Bolme for Prima.  For the last few months I've been using my glue-gun so much more often & adhering most of my embellishments with hot glue.  It's incredibly strong & very reasonably priced & readily available to me in South Africa so I recommend it to my local readers.

I have another layout going up at FWAB tomorrow as well.  Right now I'm busy working on my LIndy's Stamp Gang project along with a video to go along with it, which will be up by the end of the week.

My large alphas come from Prima too.  I sprayed them with gold mist so they shimmer in real-life.  I hope you enjoyed my project today.  Thank you for your visit!
