Hello there everyone! I hope you have all had a great week!! Happy Friday!!! I feel like I've run out of steam a bit this week but I suppose we do sometimes feel that way by Friday right?!?
I have a new layout to share with you for Flourish With a Bling,
that went up on their blog earlier this week.
You can view my actual post HERE.
The FWAB blog is one you really should follow if you want
some BLING inspiration. My team mates there inspire
me daily with their great ideas & beautiful projects!
Please refer to my post up at FWAB for the FWAB product used -
I always link up directly to the actual items in the store.
I used this month's Prima Product Pick for my inspiration.
I always love the look of monochrome/neutral/harmonious
palettes when I get to actually doing them - it always
makes me wonder why I don't make more of them!
To enhance the lovely FWAB flourish that I used I also added some
Lindy's Stamp Gang mists & some doilies, both white & gold
{my new obsession!}. The lovely mist colours I chose were:-
Marigold Yellow Orange, Canna Lily Burnt Orange,
Cocoa Bean Copper, Glory of the Seas Gold,
Starburst Sprays & Steel Shimmer Glitz Spritz.
Both patterned papers are from the Tea-Thyme Collection by Prima,
as well as the lace, metals & bark embellishments, plus the flower,
buttons, wood tickets & the resin key by Ingvild Bolme for Prima,
the metal paper clip, the aphas & the background stamp from
this season's Everyday Vintage Collection.

I also used some staples, some dry wall tape & some gold braid.
I really like the way this layout turned out. I like that it
isn't over-embellished & the balance feels right. I often feel I
overdo things so am trying very hard to show restraint these days.

Aw, what a sweet page! I like the subtle grid lines on the background paper, and how you've echoed those lines with all your linear elements--great design. You've reminded me again to ask my husband for some of his drywall tape. :)
Have a great weekend!
Absolutely stunning, Helen! Love these colours & all your layers & textures....and yes, the balance on this one is perfect. Love your handwriting too...brilliant work!
