'Hugs & Kisses' Layout - Flourish with a Bling {Prima Product Pick}

Hi!  So....I spent this weekend at Flourish with a Bling!
Well, not REALLY...But I did hijack their blog for the
weekend & got both my projects up for the month!!
Working in pairs works well for me :)

I just LOVE black bling!  Yup I didn't even realise it...
until...I saw that it was my "go to"whenever my FWAB
stash arrived in the mail.  What with my grungy style I
guess it makes sense - but it is also classy!!

I used the Prima Product Pick for October for my colour inspiration,
as well as Prima papers, flowers, stamps & embellishments.
Prima & FWAB make a fabulous combination in my opinion!

You can see my post up on the Flourish with a Bling blog HERE.
as well as the rectangular border from the Bella Rhinestone Flourishes
as well as some parts of the flourishes themselves.

Of course I also used mists from Lindy's Stamp Gang.
Some of my favourite colours actually.
I am starting to know their names off-by-heart now :)
Canna Lily Burnt Orange & Yellow Rose of Texas -
Starbursts {shiny} mists

2 colours of mist & a spray-bottle of water is all you
need to create an awesome ombre effect background.

I just love the Prima acrylic stamps!
Especially the background ones!!
They make it so easy to add little bits of
interest here & there - no acrylic block required :)

Flourish with a Bling have a HUGE SALE going on this very
minute & really, it's an absolute STEAL as their products are
already really reasonable BEFORE being 50% off!
Don't leave it to late to snag some for yourself!

It's been a FWABulous month for me as I am also the October
challenge host at FWAB & have an EASY MIXED MEDIA
CHALLENGE going on there right now over HERE.

I think I've given up computer journalling for good.
I don't think the neatness of it goes with my pages anymore.
I might use it for single words here & there
or something though I suppose...

Oh those Prima bark embellishments are TO DIE FOR - really.
The texture in real life is enough to make you cry for joy...

Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Please remember I have a GIVEAWAY
{or two!!} going on right now in this post HERE.
It closes at the end of the month!  Aaaaaand...

I have another one - from one of my Design Teams...
coming up very soon too!  So keep your eyes peeled :)

Another amazing layout. I love the rich orangey colours of this one and I love the idea of stamping on the flowers. I am so copying that one... I don't mind stamping cause its not to messy :D The Prima bark hearts are to die for... I love the texture on them and that little wire thingey(?) is lovely tucked away. If I had handwriting like yours I would never print it out anyway. Unless I print (which is fairly neat) NO-ONE can read my writing. :P
