@13 Layout - Lindy's Stamp Gang October Colour Challenge

Goodness me it's hard to believe it's the 7th already?!?

Today is the day I have my 2 wisdom teeth pulled at last!!
While of course I am not looking forward to it I am tired of
the problems they have caused me these last 6 weeks so it's
time to say "Goodbye & Good Riddance" to them :)

Just sharing my page for Lindy's Stamp Gang for our October Colour Challenge HERE.

Image
This challenge is valid on blog posts dated October 1st, 2013-October 31th, 2013.

The Lindy's Stamp Gang product I used is all available directly from their online store HERE as well as from many retail & online outlets around the world.

I used Flat Fabios {Matt Mists} in Curiouser Chartreuse, Tweedle Dee Denim & Toto's Tornado Black.

I used Starbursts {Glittery Mists} in Sweet Violet, Purple Teal, Tea Pot Purple, Canna Lily Burnt Orange & Cocklebells Coral.

Yup that's 9 mists on one page ;-p

Once I had misted my white water colour paper background with the lime {Curiouser Chartreuse} I layered my page up using other pieces of watercolour paper that I had previously treated with the many other colours of Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists.

I used them as my photo mats {the one at the back consists of Tweedle Dee Denim, Tea Pot Purple & Purple Teal & the top matt consists of all the mist colours {except the Curiouser Chartreuse}.

This is a great way of controlling your mists as you cut the papers to size AFTER you have treated it.

I also used some Lindy's Stamp Gang Magic Moon Pearls Embossing Powder sprinkled randomly on my multi-coloured matting to give it the sheen you can see above.

To create my mixed media base I also used stamps from Prima & Kaisercrafts, Sugar Dots from Prima & plastic & metal mesh from vegetable bags & my local hardware store, plus dry-wall tape & staples.

To pretty things up I added some new Prima loveliness in the way of flowers from a couple of their new collections {Anna Marie & School Memories}, a Prima flair button, plus some of their resins & metals & a FWAB vine.  The butterflies are Studio Calico Rub-ons.

I also used a Tim Holtz paper clip, some Prima chevron bling & the new Prima honeycomb stamp from Finnabair.  This was a fabulously fun layout to put together & I hope you will play at the LSG Colour Challenge - YOU CAN WIN 25% OFF your next purchase as well as have your page featured on the LINDY'S STAMP GANG BLOG!

How to Play!
