'Falmouth Harbour' Layout - A Mixed Media Colour Challenge/Sketch 365 August Sketch - Webster's Pages Plum Seed

Hi :)  Just popping in to share my sketch interpretation page for Sketchbook 365, up on the blog HERE.  I'm not on the Sketch DT but as a member of the magazine DT we can contribute if we like, so I decided to make up a page based on the super colours up at Mona & Sue's new challenge blog, A Mixed Media Colour Challenge HERE.

By the way I was a Featured Artist (one of the top 3) for their previous challenge HERE & I get to display this cool badge in my sidebar & add it to my resume - woop woop!!

I think this site is super cool & I know Sue & Mona would love your support so please pay a visit & join in when you can - mixed media is simply SUPER fun & I can't imagine creating without any wet mediums any longer!

My mixed mediums are modeling paste & 3 different mists plus ink.

You have a month to get this sketch completed & a chance to win a prize based on merit as well as be featured as a Super Scrapper so come & play along at Sketchbook 365!

I loved the sketch this month -
super simple with plenty of room for interpretation...

I used my new Prima dot stencil (have been waiting for it with bated breath for weeks!)

I also added old book-paper, rubber, metal mesh
& mesh tape in between my paper layers.

Would you believe that these are the Webster's Pages "Plum Seed" papers?  I have used the reverse side of the papers as they are full of cool blues & creams.

I have added some Webster's Pages blooms,
lace, braid, bling & alphas.

Plus some additional metals & bling.
Thanks for taking a peek at my page today!
