'Love You Bali' Layout - My Creative Scrapbook June 2013 Limited Edition Kit - Crate Paper DIY Shop

Hello hello!!  I hope you are all well!

It's Sunday evening here.  I've had a very scrappy Saturday
& a not so scrappy Sunday (went out with my daughters for coffee,
a movie & some retail therapy!) Yup my 20 year old is home from university so it's all fun & games at home for the next month
while I have a houseful of young people all on vacation!!

Here's a closer look at my 3rd layout for My Creative Scrapbook Kit Club using the June 2013 Limited Edition Kit available HERE

This kit was full of Crate Paper DIY Shop Collection, Prima flowers & trims as always & some LUXE from Pink Paislee.

Everything I used came from the kit, except for the black mist
(my fave 'Charcoal' from Maya Road), staples & brads (to secure the metal embellishments), the Copper Pearl Pen from Viva Decor, the green & blue mists (Tattered Angels Jazz Blue & Blarney) & "Knotted Wood" chalk ink (Ingvild Bolme for Prima) plus my computer journaled sentiment.

I also used a very cool product by Tsukineko, called "Goosebumps" that is a CLEAR TEXTURE SPRAY.  I heated it with my heat gun, which caused it to bubble, creating a "foamy" effect, very suitable for my beach photo.

The mask is the 6" Quatrefoil one from The Crafter's Workshop
(by Ronda Palazzari).

The circles you see look like metal but they are actually metallic chipboard from the Pink Paislee Luxe line.  (LOVED using them) & cut mine up to use over several layouts.

All the yellow/green flowers you see above are fussy cut from the "Artistry" sheet from Crate Paper DIY Shop.  I have endless patience with fussy-cutting & have no problem with it at all, in fact I actually enjoy it!!  Made so much more pleasurabe with my Tim Holtz Tonic scissors of course!

Thanks for your visit! Have a lovely week!!
There's something special about June everywhere
in the world I think :)

This is quite different from your usual page probably because of the nature pic but I LOVE it! So beautiful! The background, the elements you used, the design, the photo - everything blends together so well! :)))

Really beautiful Helen, great textures. I love the pink paisley circles and alphas. Gorgeous photo too, my sisters heading over there tomorrow and I'm so jealous I could definitely do with some Bali warmth atm. :)
