'You're So Gorgeous Baby' Layout - My Creative Scrapbook March 2013 Limited Edition Kit (Kaisercraft 'Secret Admirer' Collection) Prima/Websters

Hello Weekend!  I have such a lot to blog about I need to keep going - even if I do have a tree leaning up against my lounge window that collapsed on our house last night!  This is my last layout using my My Creative Scrapbook March Limited Edition Kit.

Plenty of links to their store, blog & info all about this wonderful kit club of mine in previous posts this week :)

Dymo tape is notoriously difficult to photograph, given it's reflective qualities, so my apologies but I did try my best :)

Anyone with teenagers will know that raising a smile out of them - ESPECIALLY for a photograph - is a near impossibility so I had to laugh when I caught this "I'm so Cool" look on camera :-D

These lyrics are from an old song I used to love in my youth. The lyrics were perfect for the photo (& my son's situation at the moment) & the title of the song was just right for the page.

Into doodling hearts at the moment ♥ Loving this Kaisercraft 'Secret Admirer' paper (DO love a lot of what they do but tend not to use too much as I can't create fast enough to keep up with all their new releases!)

These Webster's 'Storyteller' alphas are great as you get one large set & 3 small so they do for a lot of titling/journaling & I love the way they 'flow' like a cursive font.

I embossed with white on the chipboard circle this time (in keeping with the blown out highlights on the photo - taken in the UK where we were all FREEZING!!!) in December.

I kept the embellishments simple & striking on this one by layering up the new Prima metals & adding a lone, shocking pink flower.

If I'm printing photos especially for pages I'm currently working on (which I often do as I like to print my latest photos out every few weeks) I try doing little things to make my pages more cohesive with my supplies, like adding a zingy yellow border around the photo like I did here.

I hope you're all enjoying a lovely weekend.  I'm off to tick another few (hundred) things off my lists :)

Really cool. Love the white embossing on the chipboard circle and the metal embellishments.

P/s: Hope no one was hurt when the tree fell.

Totally gorgeous layout Helen, I love my Dynamo but haven't used it in a while and your layouts keep making me want to use it again! I will have to get it out of the drawer and put it on my desk so I will remember :) Wow I have been away for a few days and have missed so much on your blog, you have been busy! :)

It was beautifully done, Helen! You have lots of scrapbook items right there, no wonder you it turned out to be fantastic. The embellishments, stamps, and stickers, made it a lot more captivating! I can feel that you love creating such pieces. Do you strive to keep various scrapbook products in your room?
