Just HOW beautiful is this patterned paper I've used for my background? Generally I don't use patterned paper for my backgrounds anymore but when it's as subdued & gorgeous as this there's no need adding stencils and the like as all the work is predone for you. Prima Divine Collection :)
I'm loving the look of square photos these days...think it's due to Instagram! Not that I have an iphone or that app but I get to see lots of instagram photos on Facebook :)
Everything on my page is from the new Limited Edition kit at My Creative Scrapbook, except the mediums, the teeny bit of twine & the corrugated board I used under the photo which I swiped with a white ink pad.
I love the slight extra dimension created from this refined corrugated cardstock.
I used several Prima die-cuts from the kit and applied the same ombre technique to my alphas as I did on my last layout, only this time using a Prima inkpad in 'Blossom Bud'.
I also used my Prima ink to soften the white flower up too.
I applied a watercolour technique down the side of my photo, using Maya Road 'Sherbert Pink' Mist straight from the bottle, using a soft brush & spraying with water as I went along.
This week I'm busy working with My Creative Scrapbook April 2013 Mini-Album kit. It is just too cute...
