Just Life Layout {Purple Pumpkin December Sketch/Les Papiers de Pandore Everyday Portraits Collection}

AT LAST I can share something with you this week!
YAY!!! It's reveal day over at Purple Pumpkin today
& here is my take on their December sketch HERE.
You have 2 chances to win every month - there is a
Purple Pumpkin prize pack for the merit winner as well
as one for a a random winner too.
I used the new 'Everyday Portraits' Collection from Les Papiers de Pandore (see it HERE).  The papers are all 15cm x 15cm so perfect for cards but quite 'do-able' for layouts too I discovered.
I used some 'Goosebumps' Clear Texture Spray, as well as some brown
mist - the Goosebumps is very interesting I think - no colour at all!
You can buy the bottle cap button from Purple Pumpkin HERE.
The turquoise shades are really stunning when used together with the butter yellows (from the 'Little Winter Circus" collection) & greys.  The colours  of the Pandore collections are always so unusual yet stunning.  I edged everything with Prima 'Old Road' for a masculine touch!
I used some Purple Pumpkin twine (available HERE) and created
a zig-zag underscore to draw attention to my title.  I also used some
yellow & orange tickets (available HERE) & also a XL starry button
which you can buy HERE  - all links to the Purple Pumpkin store!
I enjoyed creating this simpler, more graphic style for a change as
I knew my 17 year old boy would not appreciate anything over-embellished.  For an interesting touch I inked through  my 6" brick stencil from The Crafter's Workshop to create some black bricks for my background - then 'outlined' each brick using a white pen.

Supplies List for 'Just Life' Layout

collection & 'Little Winter Circus" Collection.

It's funny i don't find this layout to be "simple" at all ;-)

amazing details, always!
Thank You Helen!!

Love the black bricks and how effectful the white outlining is, the twine laceing looks fab too. I have always thought you work the LPdP collections beautifully with the cleaner graphic pages that go so incredibly well for boy pages. Hmm goosebump spray, sounds very intriguing! Got 30 cm of snow only today, total chaos! cancelled trains, cancelled buses, had to leave work after an hour to be sure to get home at all. Brrr! xoxox
