Young, Sexy & Free Layout - Creative Scrappers 230 - Les Papiers de Pandore Urbanessence

Today is reveal day again at Creative Scrappers!
Boy do these fortnight's come round fast or what?!
Well seeing as I have 2 brand new Winter lines on
their way to me from Les Papiers de Pandore I thought
"Eeeek! - I better get a move on using up the Summer
ones I still have!" & so this 'Urbanessence' page came about.

These 2 beauties are my eldest daughter on the right
and her best University friend Pam, on the left.  They
met in the Chemistry lab but are also party partners
now too & soon to be share an apartment.

My title was inspired by the Jesse J song 'Domino" - my daughter
thought it was rather risque but she is nearly 20 now !  I dressed
up some raw Thickers using stamps, inks, paints & markers. Grrr!!

I inked up all my edges in 'Warm Red' by Color Box & added some
tearing which always adds to an edgy look {punching = sweet}.
That luscious splat you see on the right is a Pandore Urbanessence
 stamp from THIS set.

As you can see these stamps are a very good price. Right now
Pandore are looking to expand beyond France so please
recommend them to your LSS & encourage them to
contact Julie Blanc to discuss distribution!

I haven't come across paper this funky from any other
manufacturer - honestly - this collection was a massive hit!

I added in some printed brads from My Mind's Eye - Follow
Your Heart - Be Amazing.  They were the perfect finishing touch!

I ordered this waxed cotton cord online (by Canvas Corp)
who you all know own Tattered Angles too - it worked perfectly.

I adhered it with a glue gun which was hair-raising and tricky
but certainly a lot cheaper than glue dots and a lot stronger too.

Well there you have it!  Happy Sunday to you!!
Thanks for dropping by - I do hope you've been inspired :)

Looooooooooooooove this LO!! I love how you document pictures of your kids with others. My friends are not to keen on this so I don't post or scrap LO of their kids for that reason.

Fabulous, funky page! I agree, great papers! Love your bold title --- although that is not something I could pull off even with my married daughters. Heehee! I'm such a prude.
