Weekend Away {Photo Post} Drakensberg - Kwa-Zulu Natal - South Africa

Hello again!  I'm back!!  Been away for the weekend -
up in the mountains 3 hours inland - had a great time!
I forget about everything when I get there, but came
crashing down to earth today when I found so many
emails waiting for me so am busy playing catch-up!

Have tonnes of blogs to visit too -will do my best!!

The Drakensberg has numerous accomodation options but,
like anywhere in the world, they can get pricey, so we always
go for the self-catering option which means that getting away
requires a lot of thought & planning on my part & invariably
leaving things behind!  Only one thing this time - my Bodum
coffee pot - aaaargh!!!

Our eldest is away at university so our other daughter got to bring a friend along.

The boys played golf every day & enjoyed racing around in the golf carts!

Our 2 teen boys are 3 years apart but very good friends.

All my photos came out rather hazy - I'm going to have to
send my Nikon to Gauteng for a lens clean and service.

Have a good week everyone!

Oh my what a weekend you had! I really like the hazy photos, gives them such a nice feel. Ha ha my coffee pot is the first thing that goes into the car, no coffee means a VERY nasty wife! :)) xoxoxo

Hazy photos? You could actually pass them off as an edge-blurring filter effect!
Good to see you rejuvenated. Hope you didn't have to go without coffee for long :(
