'Love My Life' Layout {Berry71 Bleu/Purple Pumpkin} C'est Magnifique Sketch

Hi there ladies!  Hope you're having a wonderful week so far!!
I created this layout for my layout at Berry71Bleu this month,
which you can see HERE.  This month we are advertising the
beautiful products available in the Zeus and Zoe store HERE.

I was inspired by this beautiful sketch above & loved working
with the Ruby Rockit papers that came with my last
C'est Magnifique kit.

You can pop in and stock up on beautiful
MANOR HOUSE CREATIONS flowers & SCRAP FX chipboards.
My title 'Love My Life' uses Scrap FX, but the entire title was
originally  'Love of My Life' which I actually customised to suit
my needs & discarded the 'of' then split the words.

I inked the words 'Ombre' style then uteed them
{using Ultra Thick Embossing Powder = UTEE!!}

I fussy-cut all the blue flowers around the photo then inked
up the edges with dark brown, layering them up on top of
each other then adding the flowers, chipboard,
Purple Pumpkin buttons & Zva Creative Crystals.

I inked up the flowers for some extra depth & cut the chipboard
'Filigree Square' in half before inking it with maroon ink &
embossing it.  See the chicken wire peeking out from under the
flowers?  (Also from Scrap FX measuring approx 15 x 25cm).

In keeping with our October 'Mixed Media Madness' challenge
I inked up the background through a plastic vintage doily.

Here you can see 2 of the lovely Purple Pumpkin buttons I've
tucked in between my flowers & fussy cutting.  You can buy
them HERE & they are the perfect additions to a layered-up page.

I hand journaled as usual, always adding the date & name of
the person photographed so that anyone looking at the page
in years to come will know who/where & why!

Another Purple Pumpkin button peeking out there & an inked up
Manor House Creations flower, some Scrap FX customised chipboard
& some Zva Creative flourishes also cut into smaller sections.

Below you can see that I also cut some of the flowers in 'half' with
one side bigger than the other so as not to cut through the stamens.

Wooden buttons also from Purple Pumpkin, inked up & threaded
before adhering using glue dots & below you can see how I cut the
chipboard.  Thanks for stopping by!  See you tomorrow for Hump Day!!

What a beautiful rich page, full of loveliness, makes me think of spring, such beautiful colours. Thank you so much for the info on Pandore Urbanessence stamps. I'm going to France in December, only to Paris tho, is there a shop I could buy from when I'm there do you know ? A long shot but just thought I'd ask. xx
