Scrap Addict {behind the Scenes!} Feeling Contemplative :)

One of the many things I LOVE about scrapbooking
is the way I get to use so many quotes on my layouts.
As I'm a quote junkie I have tonnes of quotes that I
remember off by heart.  Right now this is the one
that keeps popping into my mind!

Behind the scenes of 'Scrap Addict' things are not always
perfect & right now they are challenging to say the least.
Something I have recently learnt is this.

That's how I feel right now :(  I've been busy
all year just "rocking around" LOL!

Yup - this is what I've realised!  I can do anything,
but not everything!

September in Durban is our rainy season.  Thankfully
it doesn't rain here "all day" often {we have what is
called "Durban Dash" rain, where it's raining one
minute and sunny the next} BUT in September it's
MISERABLE - we wake up to rain and go to sleep to
rain & for an African that is not easy to bear :)

I have a dilemma at the moment & that quote sums
it up perfectly!

We have Summer rain here so despite the bad
weather we occasionally have a clear day in
between & with my daughter on university
vacation (and my kids starting their school
holidays soon) I'm taking some time out to
just enjoy 'being' & also 'being there' for them.

I really like this quote - I've seen this actually happen
many times over (watching the metamorphosis of talent
is amazing) remember every expert out there was once
a beginner.

I'm craving some serious studio time but with
kids about all the time it's very difficult so I'm
just trying to "go with it" for now.

No matter what happens ultimately in my life
I don't envisage myself ever not creating at all -
after all, I do agree that the world without ART
is just "eh!"

HAPPY SATURDAY CREATIVES -
Wherever you are in the world I hope you are
living in the moment & enjoying this wonderful life!

Hope whatever direction your life takes you in, it fits with where you want to be...or you make it fit:):):) WOnderful reflective words - I used to have quotes up all over my walls as a teenager. For some reason, don't do it so much now. Might be an excuse to do some canvas art:):):)

My goodness talk about chucking it down!! our rain is more like a constant nagging, very rarely that sheet in the photo.
Dear sweet Helen, seems you are having some moments burdening your mind and weighing on your shoulders. So hoping they will clear when the sun eventually comes out.
Those quotes are really good ones, so many I can relate to as well.
Have a beautiful Sunday darling! Stockholm is practically ablaze with autumnal colours and beautiful sunshine. xoxox

I love all these quotes ! Didn't realize you were living in Durban. That's why I love so much blog hopping, you get to know so many people in different places, even if it's virtual. Loving the idea to know someone who share your hobby here and there, all over the world.

PS. You've done a mighty fine job for someone who's been just "Rockin' around" all year :)

I had a poster in my room as a teen that said 'If you want to make the Gods laugh, tell them your plans!' Your first quote reminded me of that. Another one - Worrying is like sitting on a rocking chair. It is something to do but it won't get you anywhere! - sounds like the second one. Do artists world over think and draw reassurance the same way? You have got me pondering now! Whatever it is...just let go for today. Tomorrow is a new day :) Hugs from India.

ohhhhh! Hugs from NY too, I love that Anupama has to say, same thing I was thinking! Is your rainy season like our snow season lasts FOREVER and EVER! ;-)
