Soiree Layout {Les Papiers de Pandore} Using the June Sketch at Scrap Africa and the ScrapFIT Polaroid Challenge

*** My 2nd post for the day - my apologies -
 month end madness!***

Hello Everyone!  Just sliding in here quickly with a layout I
made for Les Papiers de Pandore in France, you can see it on
their blog here - I mixed up various collections from them as I
was almost out of my DT paper stash and their 2 new
collections were on their way to me.  See it on their blog HERE.

I was having a "white cardstock" day.  You know when
you just want everything looking nice and pristine?!

I'm thinking some charcoal ink splats would have been
a good addition but I just wasn't feeling painterly at the time...

Nice, nice!  simple sketch from Scrap Africa HERE!

Today is the last day to play along!!  I am also entering
this layout at another of my fave challenge sites - ScrapFIT!
for their polaroid challenge HERE.  My eldest daughter,
pictured here, is away 85% of the time at university.
Most of the photos I scrap of her now are not taken by me
but rather I take them from her Facebook page!

The quality is usually not the best (phone quality) so making
this into a polaroid made me feel like that would be less
noticeable and also gave me a great opportunity to add
my journaling into the larger white space underneath.

Some yummilicious details!  The banner comes all in one
piece on the printed sheet from the "In the Meanwhile"
Collection HEREwhich is actually an outdoor,
snowy-type Winter line, but obviously very versatile!

I knew there was a reason I bought this beaded fringe
at the local upholstery fabric store!  It was years ago
but I knew I would need it!!  Adds to the Bohemian feel...

Lush, LUSH Christy Tomlinson mask, used texture paste
and paint for that lumpy, intentionally slightly messy effect.

ANCIENT glossy stickers from Pink Paislee {I think?!}
Just perfect for this layout thought right?!

Definition of SOIREE

Web definitions:
a party of people assembled in the evening
(usually at a private house).

wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn

And an idea that was sparked by another on the
Studio Calico blog.  You REALLY want to follow
that blog even if you are not a CAS scrapper - FULL
of ideas, a never ending stream of them...

Punching the holes into the red print then layering the
blue print behind (my own idea to add the alternate
brads into the centre of each).  Tactile & interesting...

Red print comes from "The Country House" Collection HERE.
The side flags come from another of their lines, "The Scent
of Camelias" HERE.  FOUR different Pandore lines here, I
was rather chuffed with myself for achieving that!
