The Hunt {Layout} Creative Scrappers Sketch 206/ Les Papiers de Pandore/ ScrapFit! Challenges

Hi girls! {I presume LOL} How are you all?  Well
I hope?!  Hope the weekend treated you well :)
Sadly I am SICK agaaaaain...I know, so boring!
But I am gargling away with salt water & trying to
catch up with my commenting!

Sorry if I have been AWOL :(
I will catch up - you know I will!!

So I created this layout for my DT work over at Creative
Scrappers, where you have the whole month to get this
sketch completed to be in the draw for some awesome
prizes.  You really need to take a look at their blog HERE
as it is full of interesting information at the moment!  You
can find THIS SKETCH REVEAL HERE too!!

There is a $20 voucher up for grabs this month from
The Paper Passion, which is a kit club and online store
where you can purchase some of the NEW CHA
collections, so please play along and link up this month -
Sketches 206, 207, 208, 209 & 210 are all valid for a
chance to win this prize!

And don't forget about the Creative Scrappers Book
{in print and E-format}.  The E-Book is on SALE right
now - for only $5 and the best part is I AM IN IT!
{LOL - just kidding - I AM in it but of course that's
not the best part!}. Click HERE to purchase.  And
of course, if you want to buy a REAL book click HERE!

I used my GORGEOUS new  "The Scent of Camelias" paper
for this one, from Les Papiers de Pandore in France as I am so
blessed to be on their design team.  You can purchase these exact
papers plus many more EXQUISITE paper & stamp collections
DIRECTLY from the link I gave you & the prices & postage are
very competitive & comparable so take a look for yourself!

I decided to keep the torn strip as I just LOVE
ripping a sheet of paper every now and again!
I actually do it VERY carefully and always
TOWARDS me so that I can reveal just enough
of the lovely white core, then I ink up the edges.

I used a chipboard heart from a local {South African}
company called Enmarc, who don't seem to have a blog
but I discovered quite by chance the other day that they
do have a Ning Community so I uploaded this there.
Their chippie is white, really unusual but gorgeous, and I
inked this in pink then glittered it up with my nail varnish!

I inked and glittered up my Thickers too and hand-journaled
about how the Easter Bunny will always pay us all a visit at
Easter.  My kids roll their eyes when I say that but I've noticed
they all enjoy the chocolate with no complaints LOL!

I stamped these butterflies onto one of the paler Pandore
prints before fussy-cutting them & clustering them at the
top of my page - together with another Enmarc flourish,
which I cut down {it's long like a Prima vine}, which I
inked up then glittered.

 I gessoed underneath my cluster
to make it stand out more, inked my page edges &
added a few mild paint splatters.  If you look carefully
at my cluster you'll see that I covered up the French
sentiment on the lovely scroll-shape, by using some printed
paper, so that I could still use the pretty embellishment.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link up to BOTH challenges
but I'm going to try! submitting this layout to Scrap Fit!
for their Decorate with a Doily Challenge as well as their

Wishing you all a happy and productive week :)

Second stop for me! Was here last night checking this out from the couch! So glad you have the subscribe by e-mail button though so I can stop by again and really get a good look from the pc. I think the letters are my favorite, although the ripping is really nice!!!
