April Wrap-Up - My Last Layout for 3 Scrappy Boys {Life is About Collecting Memories not Things}

Hi there everyone!  Happy Weekend!!
THANK YOU to all the kind people who sent me
good wishes yesterday - I really appreciate it :)

Hasn't this week just flown by?!  Monday and Tuesday
were both holiday days here so it has been a very short
week!  I am flying in with my last layout using the April
2012 "Trio" kit for 3 Scrappy Boys kit club.

I used the printed papers and stickers provided {all from
the latest Jenni Bowlin Line - Magpie} and a sheet of my
own off-white cardstock.  Using a pale base is ALWAYS
a winning look in my opinion.  I livened it up first with a few
different coloured mists, a Prima grid stamp & some pink ink.

I used my own Thickers {Hard Cover} & made that little flag,
inked it in red & mounted it on some 3D tape, laying one of the
Bella! Bling pieces right underneath it to draw your eye right there.

My title is made up of a collection of alpha stickers
- the "Collect" sticker & the little circular alphas being
from the kit (Jenni Bowlin Magpie).  The metal flower
embellishments {that I just happen to LOVE so much
I have ordered MORE} - are from 3 Scrappy Boys &
are made by Basic Grey for their Little Black Dress Line.

I used a giant Martha Stewart Daisy Scallop punch along
the edge of the printed paper.  Punches are NOT cheap
but GOOD punches are a great investment (like dies) if
you use them over and over like I do - they have all paid
for themselves many times over by now.  Those hexagon
stickers are great too - you can make your own
honeycomb designs with them and it's FUN!

For the "watercolour" effect along the side there no expensive
art materials were purchased!  I just opened up my bottle of
mist - dipped my paintbrush in and painted down the side -
Voila! Took a whole 30 seconds to achieve that effect ...
