Today brings a new reveal over at Sketchabilities with another
beautiful sketch by Karan Gerber. I'm also entering this layout
in the Scrap For Help March Challenge, which requires the
use of recycled cardboard on your project, which I have
used under the title and journaling cards.
Instead of the wide border I used some gorgeous Kaisercraft
die-cut paper that came with my March C'est Magnifique kit.
Instead of one big photo and two smaller ones I used up a
lovely big sentiment card instead, and a couple of Instax photos.
Learn about this cute little camera of mine on THIS You Tube video.
I received that gorgeous green twill and all these German
stickers ( & the tiny roses) from dear Mitra in the US.
I went stitch-crazy here & sewed a layer of ruffled, misted
gauze between the die-cut paper and the backing paper
& right through the recycled card too.
I gessoed the currogated board & inked up the roses and the
"Dream" title, which I then glazed with my clear glitter nail varnish.
See the diamond-shaped pattern in the backround? That is
Webster's Pages Vintage Inspired Netting attached to the
centre of the diecut paper using Spray Adhesive (which
worked a treat - first time I've used it) & the squares
just happened to be exactly the right size for the space
so no cutting involved!

Another lovely layout Helen. I was surprised to see you use such small photos...not your usual style. But then, whenever I think I have your style figured out, you shift;-)
