Once Upon a Sketch/Get Creative - Season's Greetings Layout - Echo Park

Hi girls!  Happy Hump Day!!  Isn't time just flying by this week?
Time for a new challenge over at Once Upon a Sketch & as you
probably know by now we are sharing this month with our sister
blog, Get Creative, so I have my layout up on display there this
month instead.

--------------------------------------------------------

February 15th Challenge

Journalling criteria/theme: HOLIDAYS/VACATION

Have you printed out all those photos from your last holiday/vacation
or most favourite holiday/vacation? We would LOVE to see them
and hear all about it. With the theme of holidays/vacation for this
challenge, we would love to hear about: your favourite holiday/vacation
of all time or a favourite place you would LOVE to take a holiday in .
Or how about the last holiday/vacation you went to?  Maybe you
have not travelled yet? Then tell us about your
 DREAM HOLIDAY /VACATION destination.

Remember that you are allowed to also create a card
or altered project based on this sketch and theme and
instead of the journalling criteria you need to use a quote.

You must combine our journalling criteria/theme with this sketch.

Now for a look at the layout I designed for the swap
with Get Creative, using this sketch.
I took quite a lot of liberties with the sketch but if you
squint you can definitely see it!

I added a lot of technique to the background first
with mists, stenciling, paper bag stamping & ink drops.

I also dressed up some Imaginarium Designs chipboard,
with paint, ink and micro beads.  I used the oval frame and
the picket fence, both available here, both of which I cut
in half/smaller sections.

I used mostly Echo Park's Seasons Greetings Christmas line
but added in some Prima & Maya Road flowers &
Jenni Bowlin stick pins.

Supplies List for "Season's Greetings Layout

Papers - Echo Park - Season's Greetings - Swirls & Plaid
plus tags, stickers & chipboard stickers
Mists - Maya Road Granny Smith  & Dragon Fruit
& Studio Calico "Mister Huey" Clover
Crafter's Workshop - 12'' Chicken Wire Stencil
