Creative Scrappers Book - "I Love You - Remembering" Layout {Prima Printery Collection}

Hi Hi!!  Phew crazy week here - my daughter flies back
to uni on Friday so it is all go getting her sorted out for
another term away...I am here today to share a layout
I created for the new Creative Scrappers Book!

Initially it was going to be available in E format only but
now Kristine has decided to get it printed up as well -
how exciting!!  So you can choose which you prefer!

I took some photos along the way - first up is the
lace paper I used as a mask (much cheaper too!)
It's from an older Making Memories wedding range.

Here is what the paper looked like once misted.
I was going for a very subtle effect as you can see...

Here is my finished layout.  I am not permitted to
share the sketch with you but I do hope you will
purchase one of the books to see it!

I layered up some beautiful Prima "Printery" papers,
inking all around the edges.

I even inked the flowers with copper too!

If you look carefully in the photo below you'll see I
used some Webster's netting below the layers too.

The butterflies are Prima Antique Mirrors and I
adhered them to the flower packaging as it had a
lovely faded clock design!

Another little trick I wanted to share is what I do
when I am short on paper {bearing in mind that the
nearest Michael's to me is in America LOL...}

I cut out the size I want using regular computer/
bond paper then I mark out the sections where
the printed paper will show.

Then I adhere the papers to those
parts only as in the photo below.

Then, once the layers are on top,
nobody would know the difference!

Tomorrow I will be hosting a GIVEAWAY of the
so I will see you back here then!  Take Care!!

Gorgeous looking page. Loving that range of papers.
What a clever little chick you are with the tip, I tend to just 'guestamate' but this looks a lot more reliable. lol.
Good luck getting everything organised for your Daughter. :)

I think its the copper on the flowers that stole my heart along with those gems but then the paper makes me happy too. Sorry for two comments, but I always like to get your new posts in my inbox so I can stare at it better!!!

I got your package, I can't even breath so much good stuff in one spot! The one bright spot in a not so good week.
