Crate Paper Color Challenge {Always Appletiser Layout}

So I decided to give the Crate Color Challenge a go.
It's so easy to just not get it done, but I love Crate
 soooooo much... I looked at it and thought "nooooooo" -
what on earth can I find in those limited colours?

 {Tempting as it was to add in red & pinks I
 left them out to stay TRUE to the palette}

But I love a good colour challenge so went for it,
 using FOUR Crate lines in the end,
 RANDOM, NEIGHBOURHOOD,  EMMA'S SHOPPE
 and PAPER HEARTS!!!

I know!  Pretty artsy right?!
And truth be told I just love getting messy these days...

Actually I manage to work without a lot of mess by laying
 a good quality plastic bag on top of my craft mat
(I don't use a box to mist into like a lot of other people)
&  I have a box of mists that goes straight back onto the
shelf when I'm done.

I didn't have a lot of papers or bits to work with so I
 had to make an impression with my backing paper first!
I misted and also sprayed my mists directly into their lids
before tipping them onto the page then drying straight away
with my embossing gun so I could get some crazy designs!

I got out my sewing machine & set it up at the dining-room
 table.  I have to make a more permanent plan for it but for
 now it's there so that I actually USE it!  I also embraced the
CONFETTI trend :)

"Something" was missing at the end so I added
the black paint in globs then dipped a pen lid
 into it for the random circle patterns.

I put another Martha Stewart punch to good use again -
"Scallop Dot" - those things don't come cheap but they
sure do come in handy!

LOVE those Studio Calico wooden asterisks!
That's another new Martha Stewart Crafts punch
you can see there too..."Scallop Dot"...
