A Few of my {secret} Shopping Links

I have to force myself to keep on top of my
scrappy shopping regularly.  That might sound quite
funny to you but remember that there is NOTHING
like Michael's anywhere in South Africa, where I
live, and if I want to keep up with up-to-date
stash I have no choice but to order online.

I need to ensure that I don't ever completely run
out of anything I really need because there is no
reasonably priced "speedy" method of getting
anything here fast.  As a result I have a whole
blog roll (list) on my private blog - entitled
"Shopping" which has a list of places I pop into
every month or so to check out.  Today I'm
just going to share a couple with you.
{just BECAUSE I love my readers!!}

I recently discovered Shimmerz and it seems
that they sell all their products themselves from
their own website.  They had some Black Friday
deals that made me take the plunge & I'm looking
forward to working with their products (similar
to Maya Road & Tattered Angels).

Another good spot is The Scarlet Lime shop.
Not only does Christy have a kit club but
she has an awesome mixed media shop that
has a mind-boggling selection of products
so I like to try out a few every now & again.

Last up is Studio Calico. I had a 6 month sub
with them earlier in the year & while they are
not "flowery" enough for my liking, and their
kits lack embellishments IMO they are ultra-
organised - which is clearly what sets them apart
from the rest - that & April's impeccable taste.

Did you know though that they also have a
really handy little shop that sells ZING {American
Crafts embossing powder} that I use often & is
simply SUPERB (you really can't live
without it) & I always find useful stuff in there -
Mr. Huey's (those are a must too & a  VERY GOOD
mist) & white journaling pens - that are surprisingly
difficult to find - as well as Martha Stewart Glue
Pens - that are a NECESSITY.

So there you go!  Helpful?!?  I hope so!!

Helen,

Hello! I see that you've been a busy bee again...Congrats on all your feature! Awesome work Helen! Love the LO with your kids' pix.

Thanks for sharing these super finds! Too bad you don't have Michael's, but most of the stuff they sell, you can buy online. I go to Michael's every couple of weeks, they don't really have new items for scrapbooking. I think they only have new stuff every season, other than that, you're better off buying online. 2 peas, scrapbook.com, scrapbooking warehouse, part time Sally..just among the few that has good deals.

Anyway, I hope you're doing well..sorry I haven't email lately. Just got done with the move last Saturday, now I'm organizing so I can get back to my old routine. Take care my friend. Hello to you and your family.

Hugs,
Marivic
