Bird is the Word - "Amazing" Layout Share & Participation Information (aka "Please Join In!")

Goodness!!!  Finally I am back!!  Internet issues!  Grrrr... I have been online (very) intermittently for 2 days because first my mouse broke, then my keyboard, then my monitor, then I lost the internet connection (& our router KEEPS losing the password/configuration) strange, but true!  So much fiddling & "holding on" (listening to hideous music) from our internet "provider" I am back!!  With my layout to share from Bird is the Word.

These WORD challenges are EVERY MONTH but TWO CHALLENGES run concurrently as a new challenge is launched EVERY FORTNIGHT and the prize EVERY TIME is a complete Tidbitz in Time kit of your choice!  We, the Design Team, judge your layouts on MERIT and all our votes are tallied up for a completely fair & considered outcome - so what's your reason NOT to play along?  Nothing? Right, see you there soon!!  You have ONE WEEK left to get in your "LIVE/LIVE/LIVING" word challenge and THREE WEEKS left to get in your "AMAZING" word layouts.

I've been working on a few layouts using my little Instax camera photos.  That camera is a cutie - like a mini-polaroid camera & readily available in the States & the East.  Lucky for me my hubs travels to Hong Kong every 3 months on business so he gets a shopping list!

I used my Webster's Pages scalloped paper like a crown at the top there so called my layout "My AMAZING family" & journaled with old Basic Grey stickers to read "You are my crowning glory".  The stitched paper is We R Memory Keepers so no I didn't sew it myself!

I used bling from a lovely multi-coloured pack from Little Yellow Bicycle & that gorgeous seam-binding was hand-dyed for me by my dear friend Kirsty in Las Vegas, from Pixie Dust Paperie.  I used up all sorts of bits & pieces by Webster's Pages.  I - LOVE - THEM - SO MUCH.  I have decided that next CHA I'm investing more in them & less in other brands!

That bling is just blingier than any other for some reason - so it's LYB bling for me all the way from now on!

All the various braids are Webster's.

As are the  bloomers.  I could use those on every page.  Seriously.  Webster's just ups their game season upon season...

Supplies:-

Sewn Cardstock - "Family" by We are Memory Keepers
Printed paper - Webster's Pages "Ladies & Gents" die-cut
Bling - LIttle Yellow Bicycle
Seam Binding - Pixie Dust Paperie
Braids, Cameos & Bloomers - all Webster's Pages Designer Trim
Bling swirls - Prima
Alphas - all older Basic Grey

Now I am going to spend the rest of the day catching up on my scrap-booking.  I had a bad productivity week this week as I was planning a trip away at the beginning of the week (all organised - check) then I didn't feel great during the middle of the week (far too cold here right now for my liking..) then my pc packed in for a couple of days at the end of the week (and I have short-cuts to everything I want & need to do - but they're no good if you have no internet & can't access them!) So I spent the day tidying up my Studio instead yesterday.  Not a bad idea but not a top priority (it's never in too much of a state).  Now I feel like I need to churn out a few pages at least & I have fresh photographs on my desk as we speak...(LOVE the smell of printer ink!!!)

Tonight I will blog-hop on the laptop from the cosiness of my bed so expect a visit from me soon!
HAPPY WEEKEND ALL
