Wednesday Waffle...{and a Sneak...}

Outside my window...my car...all nice & clean {that only happens once a week but if I don't keep it that way the salty sea air will rust the thing...}

I am thinking...that I continually go to bed too late...and that there's nothing I can really do to rectify that LOL...

I am thankful... that good fortune really does come to those who wait.  To the Lord for fulfilling so many of my long-standing prayers of late.

From the kitchen...Lots of yummy food left over from a weekend full of visitors - and some lovely new glasses (bought when I realised I didn't have 12 matching ones for when we have guests over!)

I am going...to go to bed.  To read a new magazine that is waiting for me there.  To snuggle up with my kitty cat who is already waiting for me (right on my pillow) & to listen to hubby's snoring deep-breathing...

I am hoping... to get my 2 new hard-drives installed & all my data moved across sometime soon.  320gig ones are full...moving on to 1 terrabyte ones - have given up counting the jpegs now...

I am hearing... the tick of the clock, the hum of my computer tower, yes that's how quiet it is {reminds me why I stay up so late...peace...}

On my desk...this layout {just a sneaky peek...} (completed this evening) & sent here for reveal on Thursday...

Around the house...everything is tidy (thanks to the visitors we had - gotta tidy up when guests come over right?!) & even the young ones' room is sorted - thanks to Jack's quest for a Blackberry {thus he is willing to spend a couple of hours tidying it with them & getting paid :)}

Some plans for the rest of the week...get all my soon-to-be-required DT scrapbooking done & dusted.

Label my (relatively) new scrappy baskets so I don't keep having to pull them out when I forget what I put in them...hee hee...

Try to persuade the electrician & the carpenter to arrive (been waiting since January but such is the Durban work ethic - the beach is always more appealing).

Buy some "hard-landscaping" stuff for the garden...pebbles, edging-poles etc.  (gotta keep at it a little every month to keep the ball rolling...) Not much point buying plants right now as Autumn has set in here but do need one new yellow Hibiscus as the last one was chomped by snails....

Such is my exciting life :)

Truth be told it's a good life shared with good people & not a day goes by that I don't acknowledge how blessed I am to have what I have & who I have.

Hope your week is shaping up well too!!  What's your news? :)

Hello there
I can identify with much in your post.
I also got a terabyte hard drive, also can hear the clock ticking and tower humming.
I am ruminating about creating a LO called "clock watcher" because I feel that is what I have become in order not to miss a child fetching and carrying the way I (and I am sure you too) do.

As much as I love your LO's i do miss your ramblings.

Love the quiet of a house when everyone is in bed, my favourite time too.
