Featured x 3, Chat with Charm Interview, a HUGE scrappy SALE, how to use your VIRTUAL SCISSORS & some Inspired Blueprints & Sketchy Thursdays News!

Geez if I don't blog all this stuff it's going to go out of my mind for sure!

So, just 'cos I feel like sharing - here is the COLOUR COMBO for the week  over @ Colour Combos Galore.

Reveals are every Friday morning for me & I need to get my layouts in by Wednesday evening (Americans deduct 6 hours - Australians add on 12!) but there is a countdown gadget on the site.

And this is the COLOUR PALETTE over at The Colour Room, which needs to be in by Thursday evening (except if you are in Australia - in which case it is somewhat later - probably Friday morning, and for Americans you would need to have it in by Thursday lunch time to be safe ).  Again, there is a BIG counter on the page I've linked you to but you have to scroll RIGHT DOWN to see it.

I've done neither of these challenges yet - EEK!  (and I do them most weeks). Hopefully today/tonight...Will you join me?  Colour challenges are lovely - they really push you out of your comfort zone & you get a chance to play without worrying about if all your supplies are the "latest & greatest" so you get to dig into your older stash :)

So I was a Spotlight Artist over at City Crafter Challenge Blog last week with this layout I submitted for their "Mother May I?" challenge.

And I also made Gallery Fave @ Colour Combos Galore on the same day!  Woo hoo!!

With this layout...

That means my layout gets to stay up at the top of the gallery - along with the other 4 gallery faves all week.  It is also on the front page for a day, together with a photo of yourself, but I missed it would you believe - I didn't log on that day - hardly ever happens but that's sod's law for you!

And if you are thinking that I have some type of fancy software that captures  all these "screen grabs" think again - if you are a Windows 7 user click on the Windows button on the bottom left of your pc & have a look for your very own FREE WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 10 - Snipping Tool - awesome - can't live without my scissors - even my virtual ones!  Just make a shortcut from your bottom launch bar & your scissors will always be handy when you need them.  Click on them when you want to save something - drag around the area you want to save - then click the disc icon) to save to a location of your choice.

I got to have my little "free" shop at Addicted to Scrapbooking - courtesy of my Sketchy Thursdays win earlier in the month - my $25 voucher - I went a tad over, and still have to pay shipping, but this is PRIMA we are talking about ladies - and it is going to work out around R20 per item for me, instead of around R60, so I've still saved one third & got something that is NOT AVAILABLE HERE ANYWAY!

Addicted to Scrapbooking is CLOSING DOWN &  so they have a 40% or MORE OFF sale going on RIGHT NOW so hurry, hurry to check out the link I gave you for them above!

Now "don't forget" I am Guest Designer at Sketchy Thursdays this month.  I am contributing a layout per week & so far have done TWO that I haven't blogged about yet!  There just don't seem to be enough hours in the day & I don't like to overwhelm you all with endlessly long posts (although that's starting to happen LOL).  So if you want to have a look at my layouts for them & don't want to wait for me to post here click on in & take a look with pleasure!

So why not give Sketchy Thursdays a go?  They are a really laid-back, friendly bunch with great sponsors, a Guest Designer Challenge EVERY MONTH but hurry 'cos you need to get your layouts in by the 21st - which is only 4 days away - not only do you win a month as their Guest Designer but also a lovely kit fro Scrappy Chix!  They also choose a whole bunch of FAVES every week so you could see your layout "up in lights" on the Sketchy Thursdays blog :)

REMEMBER that of course YOU CAN COMBINE one of their sketches/or their Guest Designer sketch - with one of the above colour combos/palettes too!

And last but not least (hang on a second so you can read that flashing blinkie!)

I was spotlighted at TPV!
See that?!  I was featured at The Paper Variety!  Woo hoo!!  Finally I got my layout in by Sunday evening {I've played a couple of times before but never linked up early enough to be considered for their Spotlight Artist} as the actual challenge is only due in by Tuesday but to be considered as a Spotlight Artist you need to link up by Sunday evening.

This layout was for my DT work @ Inspired Blueprints for their Sketch 74 here - awesome sketch - as well as at The Shabby Tea Room for their "ruffled up" challenge (a nice laid back site with very simple rules & no-one getting tetchy about "combining challenges" etc).  I have completed 3 layouts for Inspired Blueprints DT so far & still have one to show you...coming soon...

LASTLY - just in case you thought this post was actually over I have an interview with Chat with Charm - she sent some questions over to all us DT girls at Inspired Blueprints & it sure was fun filling in all the answers!  Go check it out (you may have to register for the forum first but that is quick & easy) & there is a lot of interesting stuff going on there.  Thank you Charmane!

Phew - so that's it - 3 features - an interview - a tip for you about the snip tool, a link to a great scrappy sale!   And FOURTEEN links - yikes I think I deserve some time off to scrap now!!
