RAK, Some Fun, CHA goodness, a photo & The Photographer's Workshop Overview.

Last day of my January giveaway TODAY so if you could do with a bit of extra stash or there's something in the photo below that takes your fancy just holler in the comments section & become a follower!  I didn't used to believe in the Follower's Gadget so took it off my sidebar but, c'mon, it's only fair, I invest a lot of my time here for free so at least stroke my ego a bit will ya?!  (seriously though a bit of positive affirmation never hurt anyone...)  I will draw a winner towards the end of next week & will consider any comments posted alongside posts with this picture.

These are the 4 reasons this blog post may seem a bit random!  (aren't they delightful?!)

This is just some random art I found on tumblr (unknown artist or I would credit!)  Printing it up for Jack's (bright red) bedroom wall.

And this is where I'm at right now - 5 hours a day - soaking it all up like a sponge...The course has only just got going but it is already way beyond my expectations (I tend to aim low to avoid disappointment...).  I have already done my first week's assignments, listened to (yes - there's audio), read & printed out my first week's lessons & spent ages in the forum asking questions & reading, reading, reading.  I can tell you now that I am going to get my money's worth (this isn't a cheap course) and I really think it's the best money spent on my photography course so far.  Karen is extremely attentive & will answer all your questions promptly & thoroughly & provide you with invaluable links (that I'm not gonna share!)

LOL - love the quote! I'm not looking at CHA releases till they hit the shops...maybe not even then!

Wow didn't realise that your course was an all day thing - you must be so pleased to have made the decision to do it. As for CHA releases my favourite is a butterfly one from Bo Bunny and just lots of bits and pieces from various collections - more the embellishments than the papers.

Interesting post Helen, and thumbs up for taking your course seriously, really, I don't think I can, or even able to afford all those time and effect at this stage of my life, bravo for doing that!!!

I haven't been that wild about CHA this year either.
I have signed up for Jessica Sprague's digi in deeper v2 wich starts soon too so then my bum will be molded to my computer chair as well.
Your children are lovely, so good to see them all together, and their height differences.

Love the two quotes/sayings/prayers you have in here. Funny (1st) and inspiring (2nd). In fact the 2nd one would be good on a scrapbook page.
Sigh I am so glad you are feeling you are getting your money's worth on the course already. That was the problem with the one I took, it was an okay course, and I did learn, but I didn't feel I got my money's worth and the instructor was not available as she ought to have been, with what we were paying.
And then the 2nd online course I took I flaked out on (I was only auditing anyway to save money) so I still haven't gotten the satisfaction you're talking about. One day though...
I am so glad for you that you are enjoying it. It's wonderful.

It will be wonderful to see your new photography skills unfold quickly enough ! woot !

& I dunno ,after CHA Winter 2011's unveiling - I dont feel particularly excited about anything anymore - it will depend now on getting things at the cheapest possible price for me & that might decide what I will get I think.

Hi Helen, I've just been having a peek at your blog and it's gorgeous! I love the quote near the top of your page, and yes those four young people are delightful. You must be a very busy lady!

I can't wait to hear more about the course. I am sure it is going to be fun and that you will have lots to tell and teach us afterward.
