January Highlights - Scrapper in the Spotlight An Honourable Mention & my first DT Challenge at Scrapbook Challenges

Before we slide seamlessly into February {whooops..already happened...oh well...} I just wanted to post this here for posterity & give you the link here to check out my first ever scrappy interview {okay first ever by ANOTHER person - what, you don't give yourself scrappy interviews all the time...???...just me huh???...okaaaaaaaaaay...moving on....}

and, because I like to be REALLY thorough I have screengrabbed the whole thing so let's see if that works!  {am sooooooooooo loving the little scissors that come with Windows 7 - if you haven't found them yet go into your computer - button bottom far left - find them & pull them onto your launch bar at the bottom - I use them ALL the time!}  Okay, just seen that it is called the SNIPPING TOOL...

Just pasted that in there for y'all who are like me - too lazy to click links (if only that were the truth I'd save myself a looooooooooooot of time...)  and looky what I discovered over here yesterday...over at Candy Shoppe Designs -  and, just because I've learnt how to SNIP!!!

And my first challenge over @ Scrapbook Challenges.  I really loved setting the challenge & have enjoyed the interaction on the boards & leaving a bit of Gallery Love every day {commenting on people's uploads in the Member's Gallery}.  You really should JOIN if you want some direction, motivation, super sketches, regular interaction AND prizes!!! (lovely stuff shipped all over the world - won a huge kit there myself last year)

So that's it from me this bright & sunny Durban morning!  I am tootling off now to the boards over here to see what's been happening while I've been sleeping!

I cannot even BEGIN to tell you how incredibly excited I am to be taking this course - it is so much MORE than I ever imagined or have ever experienced to this date (but needs it's OWN POST!) - do follow the link & get yourself on the wait list though if you are really serious about wanting to take your photography to the next level.  I'd say this course is more vital than that next "must-have" lens that you are eyeing out...really...

Helen, great interview, I really enjoyed reading it, clever girl with the snipping tool, will investigate because this would be great when I find out who could print out my blog to date and make a book of it. I have to say all the manufacturers you mentioned I struggle with most of their designs, funny hey, because I just LOVE your layouts and maybe I need to challenge myself here.....thanks for the inspiration and what a great course, share some of the gorgeous photos you learn to take with us. Love Melxx

LOL..THANKS SO SO SO MUCH! Awesome interview. Loved reading it. Also checked out CAndy Shoppe Designs..cool! That layout most definetely deserved an honourable mention. Became a follower there and HOPE to get some time to join in some challenges. THANKS for your kind words...ALWAYS appreciate them and look forward to them!Have a lovely day! Its 8:30pm here and about 42 degrees outside and about 100% humidity! Awful day in Sydney today.
