Right Now...

  • I am feeling very content.
  • I really should be in bed (nearly 1.30a.m!)
  • I have had a wonderful weekend (despite the start - I am not one to stay down for long ;-D)
  • Something wonderful is in the pipeline but I need to know that it is all in order before I
    share.
  • I can honestly say that a change in scenery & routine really does wonders for your frame
    of mind.
  • I am starting to think seriously about Christmas, Christmas gifts (what I want to give &
of course, what I want to receive too!!!)
  • Even though we don't have a holiday planned for December I am looking forward to our
"stay-cation" & am planning our agenda.
  • I have been sleeping so much better since we went away recently & can honestly say I
feel so much more energised as a result & am really trying to stay in my routine {tonight being an
exception as I have had no pc time this weekend with my computer in for repairs}.
  • Can't recommend family-bonding strongly enough. 10 days away - {even to an unexotic
location!} still works to bring everyone back together again. I feel more connected now.
  • Retail therapy is wonderful. I'm not a big spender but I bought a few lovely things this
weekend & can't stop looking at them! A pair of shoes, a necklace & a couple of hair
bands (the Lizzie Kartchner kind with the big flowers on them) for us girls to share &
I'm still happy just thinking about them.
Just 10 things going through my mind right now...oh, and one last thing...my new screensaver...

Henry Cavill, from The Tudors...What??? Spring is here after all...

YOu're so funny! Who, at our age, has a screen saver like that! You go girl.

You do sound a lot more chilled and relaxed after your vacation.

Great that you are feeling more back to normal after your holiday... keep it up and don't let the routine of life get to you too much.

Hmmm...even I am surprised by how much better I feel. I didn't feel that bad before but definitely feel more "human" now. As for the screensaver - I do that every now & again...as does Shane...it's all in the name of fun!

Gaborone might not be exotic to YOU but a trip to Botswana with my family is my DREAM vacation.
I guess anyone might say the same thing about Jamaica--I'm dying to get out of here!

Nah, that's only half true - just wish I didn't have to worry about being murdered so much ;-D Yes, our local high-density suburb (just down the road) now has THE highest murder rate in THE WORLD... Kwamashu...lovely...

My belief is that being content is the 'answer to life'.
