My Faves & a Bloggy chuckle...

I got this idea from an awesome new kit site called The Girl's Loft...go check it out...if you don't know Margie you should...she is one hilarious hard-working girl that I had the pleasure of meeting at the 2007 Scrap convention. She has started this site (for her new kit club) with her teenage daughters...well all I can say is they are obviously over 16 as my daughter could never be entrusted to help me run a business at this stage of her life! See my HELP! request (post) for further details ...

(BTW on that score we have improved tenfold...despite a bit of complaining things have improved ALOT although there is still room for improvement...) I have become very strict "no-nonsense" with regard to chores & now DD can do the washing - hang it up - & bring it in...not exactly how I would do it, but DONE nonetheless! She helped me willingly (for the first hour) today & begrudgingly for the next...& we did a pretty flashy job cleaning as we had a day off yesterday visiting friends out of town.

So here is my idea from one of the DT members over at the Loft.

1) Fave day of the week: FRIDAY (TGoodnessIF) Psychological I 'spose...
2) Fave colour: PINK (good for clothes but don't do alot of it on my scrappy pages...)
3) Fave music: Taylor Swift right now...no particular type for me...just whatever grabs me at the time...
4) Fave animal: Kitty Cats for sure...
5) Fave food: Sushi - yup I love it - lots ginger & wasabi - that stuff cures my hayfever!
6) Fave hot drink: Skinny decaf cappucino.
7) Fave cold drink: Coke Zero at the moment.
8) Fave season: Definitely Autumn (Fall) here...it's the only tolerable tropical weather!
9) Fave scrappy thing: Bazzill...but let me tell you I am fast getting tired of the scourge here & looking more fondly upon AC cardstock...
10) Fave scrappy place: Definitely my glass desk in my bedroom - despite having to make occassional visits to my official scrappy storage room for supplies I have no space to house.

And yes, I tag YOU! Anyone reading this...consider yourself tagged! C'mon, play along will ya?

Next up is a little chuckle from a very funny site I discovered a while back & was reminded of when I was on Lynette's blog today. I remember seeing this poster below when I had first discovered blogging & not really understanding it...now I can enjoy a hearty good-natured chuckle...

...even though it is very insulting to all us bloggers "out there" (out here???) who make an effort to enhance Cyberspace... I can take a joke ;-D BTW - do yourself a favour & get those healing endorphins flowing by checking out more of the same here.

As for me...I am flailing a bit...I am losing the flu-fight, despite tons of medication...apparently I am supposed to stay in bed all day & all night...like really...some people can do that???!!!

Yes - you do have to stay in bed! Your family WILL cope, in fact you'll be surprised at how well. And you'll get better faster by staying in bed!

No ... I don't know of anyone with the luxury to stay in bed 24/7 ... I never do that ... I find ignoring illness works best for me!!LOL ... hell, don't go with that advice tho ... I take noooo responsibility!! Glad Chelsea is helping you out more ... note. both my kids would be a huge help in running a home business, it's me that can't be bothered!!heehee ...

Thanks for your concern - I haven't stayed in bed 24/7 but I have taken it easier & I'm hoping that will do the trick...I just wish there was a magic pill that would have me bouncing about again as I have so much I want to achieve ;-D
