South African Politics (and other far more interesting news).

I was sent a very funny chart as a forwarded e mail yesterday, but was having trouble saving it to put on my blog yesterday, even though it was a jpg. Eventually I got it, but it came up very small. So what I have decided to do is give you the link here and you can have a look yourself. The chart still looks very small (I traced it back to the original site where it was published originally) but if you click on it it will open up nice & big. Even (in fact especially) if you are not South African or living in South Africa, it will give you a very clear general overview of what we are facing here in terms of leadership ;-D

The other "Far more interesting News" some of you caught in your readers yesterday, but for the rest of you, this is it... I have a part-time job! After 11 years of child-rearing this is going to be my first paid venture...and the best part is it was the first one I applied for and wasn't even advertised - I just saw a need & sent an e mail, went in for a chat, and that was that! So I am feeling very chuffed with myself aswell as absolutely terrified, but I will feel the fear & do it anyway...I am going to be doing all sorts of cool stuff. Setting up a blog, preparing 2 double-page spreads a month for teaching purposes, teaching one evening class per week and preparing and presenting a 2 - 4 week workshop/course on a Saturday, as of next month, once I have prepared it.

All this starts Monday but of course my brain is spinning & I am already thinking things up & trying them out. I'm a firm believer in getting the momentum going, with one thing leading to another, and I hope this will prove to be just the start of exciting things to come! So that's it for today - I'm off to enjoy my new Scrapbooking mags & hopefully be inspired. Tomorrow is going to be a creating day for me.

Good luck with the new "job" sounds like it will be fun... don't let the stress of preparing for it turn you off scrapping.
