Religion & Politics

Don't usually feature on my blog. Truth is, I actually have very strong opinions on both these topics, which is why I choose not to discuss them here too often, lol! This one was just too good to pass up though. Not my words, but was sent this as a "forward" & it is pretty scary...

Allah or Jesus?
The Muslim religion is by far the fastest growing religion in the UK.

Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs. I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.

After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven.
If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'
There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Nonbelievers!'
I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?' The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.' He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope Benedict commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless! I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question. Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam remained speechless. Needless to say, the organizers and promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with this way of dealing with the Islamic Imam and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

Within twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U..K. to elect a government of their choice, complete with sharia law. I think everyone in the U.K. should be required to read this, but with the Liberal justice system, liberal media and the political correctness madness, there is no way this will be widely publicised.

I wish this could come out in the open( I am British by my parents -born in Zimbabwe though & I always thought my British passport was my prized possesion) but this is very common in the UK my family young & old(over 80) have all commented on it lately. Its also something when the Archbishop of canterbury says we should consider sharai law too!!!! As you see I feel very strongly about this am trying to be objective though LOL.

1. There is nothing in the Koran which says Muslims should kill people of other faiths. You could misread the bible just as much and claim that Jesus thought banks were evil (turning over the tables of the moneylenders), or that he promoted cannibalism (eat, this is my body etc), or prostitution, by consorting with prostitutes.

2. The email says: "most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven"

This is simply not true - a small handful of politically motivated and isolated terrorists have declared a holy jihad war, which the vast majority of muslims across the world are ignoring for the stupidity it is.

3. There won't be enough muslims to create their own government in 20 years. The Muslim population of the UK is between 1.6 and 2 million out of 60 million - ie: less than 3.33 %. There are only 4 muslim MPs, ie: 0.6% of the MPs, therefore Muslims are under-represented at the moment in the UK Parliament.

4. You can tell this was originally an American story - and not the British story it purports to be - because it mentions "Dr Stanley" as the leader of the protestants - he is the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. If it had been a real story based in the UK, the other chaplain would have been Church of England and it would have said "Archbishop Rowan Williams"

Howard makes some interesting points but with errors:
Is this e-mail concoccted? - Probably (Ididn't even know who Dr. Stanley was).
Would a "muslim" cleric answer the questions in this way? - Almost certainly not; he would be more likely to emphasise the verses in the Quran that describe Christians and Jews as "People of the Book" and that if there were no "muslims" around, that "muslims" should befriend them.
He would avoid mentioning the clear commands that to kill Christians and Jews are definitely part of the Quran and that these commands abrogate the "friendship" commands - i.e. render them as if they had never been written.
It is part of "muslim" culture that they believe themselves to be under attack and persecuted and that all the killing that they do is "in self defence".
About Britain becoming a "muslim" nation?
According to the strategy that they have been successfully using for centuries, Britain is on schedule.
